What ARIES Team can do
- ARIES team can design a self-cooled Sn-Li blanket to assess the
advantages and issues associated with using Sn-Li as the
coolant breeding material
- The information generated can be used to guide the R/D program
- It is possible that some international collaboration on design and R/D can be developed on Sn-Li*
- With the combination of SiC and Sn-Li, a high performance blanket design is possible
- Initial discussions have been started with Tanaka and Futterer
