An Unique Feature of the Sn-Li Blanket
- Sn-Li has very low vapor pressure
- Therefore, it is possible that we can accept some first wall leakage with no effect on the plasma operation
- This may resolve some of the concerns on the first wall reliability, especially with the SiC first wall
- Detailed calculation on the allowable first wall leakage rate has to be determined
