Removable Unit Configuration
-
Removable power core unit
- Following elements are integrated into the single removable unit:
- Centerpost
- Inboard first wall/shield, and stabilizer plates
- Outboard blanket
- Upper and lower divertor plates and ring manifolds
- Upper and lower He-cooled divertor shield, and high temperature shield
- Coolant manifolds of the both inboard shield and diverter plates
- Lower water cooled divertor shield
- Lower PF coil 1&2
- All coolant ring headers locate at the bottom
- Outboard TF shell at the bottom part.
TF System Configuration
- Cutaway of
ARIES-ST TF system
Power Core Configuration
Cutaway of
ARIES-ST IB-shield/Divertor/Blanket
Cutaway of
ARIES-ST power core
Cutaway of
ARIES-ST components
The 3D drawings are now 70~75% complete. Need following infomation from
people:
- cross section and locations of new PF coils
- new TF geometry if it is different from that of last project meeting
- cross sections of TF leads
- dimension of vacuum pumping duct; now eight of vacuum pumps are assumed
