Removable Unit Configuration

Removable power core unit

Following elements are integrated into the single removable unit:

  1. Centerpost
  2. Inboard first wall/shield, and stabilizer plates
  3. Outboard blanket
  4. Upper and lower divertor plates and ring manifolds
  5. Upper and lower He-cooled divertor shield, and high temperature shield
  6. Coolant manifolds of the both inboard shield and diverter plates
  7. Lower water cooled divertor shield
  8. Lower PF coil 1&2
  9. All coolant ring headers locate at the bottom
  10. Outboard TF shell at the bottom part.

Cutaway of ARIES-ST components

The 3D drawings are now 70~75% complete. Need following infomation from people:

  1. cross section and locations of new PF coils
  2. new TF geometry if it is different from that of last project meeting
  3. cross sections of TF leads
  4. dimension of vacuum pumping duct; now eight of vacuum pumps are assumed
