Highlight new major elements of the power core

Flare centerpost at the bottom of the core to allow removal of the centerpost through bottom independently, without disturbing the whole power core.(see power core elevation view)

Size and locate NBI penetration.(see NBI elevation view) and (see NBI power core plan view, showing NBI)

A New NBI Power Core Plan View (see New NBI power core plan view, showing NBI)

Optimize the transition region between the inboard FW and divertor. The outboard TF shell shoulder near the centerpost is adequately shielded to be life-of-plant.

Recommend vacuum path through outboard divertor area and TF shell; Pump on space behind Helium manifolds and inside TF shell.(see vacuum path and pumping space- elevation view)

Develop the outboard first wall manifold and coolant ring headers. (see continuous outboard blanket cross section,half-core) and (see continuous blanket cross section, close-up) (see original (modular) outboard blanket and first wall box)

Revisit power core assembly sequence. (see power core assembly sequence- elevation view 1) (see power core assembly sequence- elevation view 2)
