U.S. Fusion Program Receives Additional $8 M Stimulus

The U.S. Fusion Energy Sciences Program has received an additional $8 M in funds as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), commonly known as economic stimulus funds. The money is in addition to that reported previously (FPN09-35) of $83 M, bringing the total to $91 M.

The additional funds are to be used to provide Fellowships and Early Career Awards for fusion research.
