Work to be done
- Establish basic blanket configuration
- Perform thermal fluid calculations to balance the MHD pressure drop and the gravitational head
- Collect most update information on the material properties of SiC
- Perform first wall thermal and stress calculations to determine maximum allowable first wall thermal and neutron load
- Perform proper neutronic and activation calculations to determine tritium breeding, afterheat and activation
- Perform safety assessment
- Develop tritium recovery method
- Optimize the power conversion system
- Develop a free flow Sn-Li divertor design
